Simon Cowell to write his autobiography and tell all about X Factor's 'monsters'

The X Factor and Britain's Got Talent supremo was left red faced by revelations in an unauthorised 2012 biography but now says he is ready to write his own life story

Pillow talk: Simon won't have to cover his ears with a pillow after writing his OWN book
When the last biography about his life came out, Simon Cowell spent “a week hiding under a pillow”, but that isn’t going to stop the X Factor boss releasing his own tell-all book.
And this time he’s writing it himself.
3am caught up with Si, 55, before he jetted off on his annual Barbados hols, and he revealed he’ll be spilling the beans on life with girlfriend Lauren Silverman, 37, and baby Eric.
“I am writing one,” he confirmed. “I would write it myself, but I would work with someone.
"You have got to have someone, because someone has to do the research, but it would be my book.”
In April 2012, Tom Bower published unauthorised biography Sweet Revenge: The Intimate Life of Simon Cowell.
It revealed the reality TV guru had an affair with former X-Factor judge Dannii Minogue, 43, and was romantically interested in fellow judge Cheryl Cole, 31.
At the time of the book launch Si said: “I want to publicly apologise to anybody I embarrassed because I have tried to keep my private life quiet a bit, and I do have to apologise to certain people and certain members of my family.
“I will be honest with you, I spent last week under a pillow in my bedroom.”

But now Cowell says he “didn’t mind” Bower’s offering, and is looking forward to getting stuck into volume two.
He says: “The last book was written about me, and I’m kind of thinking I didn’t mind the book.
“So much has happened since then, I think it will be great.”
So do we... bring on all the scandal.
Si says he’ll be getting down to the nitty gritty about the “monsters” in the X Factor.
He adds: “This year’s X Factor has been brilliant, both Fleur East and Ben Haenow have been a pleasure to work with.
“As someone has already hinted, by the final stage of the competition, monsters do emerge.
"We have had our fair share. That goes in the next book.”
We can’t wait.
