Josh Brolin and Diane Lane have finalized their divorce.
The pair had separated earlier this year, and Los Angeles County Superior Court documents filed Nov. 27 made the split official.
Lane, 48, who had legally changed her name to Diane Lane Brolin, has restored her name to Diane Lane.
Last month, Brolin, 45, checked into a rehab facility following several public altercations.
The actors were married in 2004, during a ceremony at Brolin's central California ranch.
The couple have had a tumultuous marriage, as Brolin was arrested just four months after the wedding for spousal battery. Although Lane phoned police claiming Brolin had hit her, she did not press charges.
After the couple separated, James Brolin, Josh's father, told PEOPLE the split was "mutual."
"He's great," James said. "You know, everything is mutual. It's all okay."
