Jagger mocks and praises Obama

David Jackson, USA TODAY 8:28 a.m. EDT June 26, 2013
Maybe Mick Jagger felt bad over kidding President Obama about surveillance.
A night after joking about Obama during a concert, the veteran front man for the Rolling Stones tweeted: "Was a great show in Washington DC last night ending our US tour. BTW I applaud President Obama's new climate change plans, very refreshing."
During the Monday performance, Jagger took a crack at National Security Agency surveillance programs by saying, "I don't think President Obama is here tonight -- But I'm sure he's listening in."
Jagger also joked about former first lady Lady Bird Johnson attending Rolling Stones gigs during the 1960s.
